Morning

06:00 AM

Starting the day

We let all the dogs out of their sleeping kennels and air out their bedding.

07:00 AM

Feeding time

We mix all the dog food and make sure all our residents get fed and receive their vitamins and medicines.

08:00 – 9:00 AM

Rest

Now time for the humans to have some breakfast and rest.

9:00 – 12:00 AM

Cleaning time

We clean out all the kennels, the feeding plates, wash soiled bedding and the shelter premises. 

Afternoon

11:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Lunch and relax a bit

Human lunch time and play time with the dogs. We spend some time training them in basic commands and just cuddling them.

1:30 – 2:00 PM

Afternoon feeding

We feed the dogs their second meal of the day and then clean out all their plates and cooking items.

Evening

3:00 – 4:30 PM

Time for excercises

We take the dogs out on a doggy hike! Get them used to the leash and exercise them. If it is raining then we stay in at the shelter and play and spend time with the dogs. More treats and training.

After 6:00 PM

Relax time

Once the dogs go into their sleeping kennels, we’re free to do whatever we want! Woohoo! 

11:00 PM

Time for sleep

If you go out for dinner then we expect you back at the shelter by 11pm on weekdays. A full night of sleep is essential to be able to be able to help out.

For long term volunteers you get both weekends off and for short term volunteers you get selected days off. Get in touch for more details.
